Sometimes I like to let the client tell their story…

“John and I met 12 years ago at Scarantinos in Glendale. He was my waiter. From the start we were both very comfortable with each other and flirted constantly. My family had been going there for over 20 years so it was normal for us to go monthly. When I would go I would always make sure to look nice just in case John was there, and he always made it a point to come by and say hello. About eight years ago he asked for my number for a haircut, but never called. Every time I kept going I would always either leave my business card or write my number on the back of the receipt hoping he would call but it wasn’t until four years ago that he finally called me and asked me if I wanted to hang out. For 3 months we hung out as friends till he finally made a move and from then on we were inseparable!

Our 4 year anniversary was on April 24th. John was planning on proposing then so he picked up the ring on April 1. Now, John being the type that cannot keep any secrets from me he clearly wasn’t going to make it until the 24th. So on April Fools’ Day, while hanging out at home finishing a movie we have started to talk about the April Fools Jokes we would’ve played on each other… and he said “I have the best one of all”, but he told me he would not tell me. So I begged him and begged him and finally he said that he would ask me to be his wife! He walked over to me to hand me the box. I asked him if it was real and if it was mine and he said “No” and started to laugh. Then he stated that it was real and that it was mine. l look back up and he was on his knee; he said something that I have no idea what it was and clearly I said yes. We joke now cause he didn’t even have the ring 5 hours before he gave it to me, but the moment was beyond right!”
